Advent candles - the best ways to count down to Christmas!

Come and join a wonderful afternoon and make a very special Christmas arrangement for Advent. In the lovely rustic studio of Battersea Bloem we will be show you the ropes of making your very own Advent table arrangement to brighten up your Christmas table.

The workshops are very relaxed,  starting with a demonstration whilst you enjoy a complimentary drink. After which you will be supported in making your own master piece. We will add moss as a base - this will ensure your arrangement will stay fresh till Christmas! We will also use some fibre-blocks, which are 100% natural and compostable. There will be a choice of lots of fresh foliage and plenty of natural decorations, such as dried fruit, spices, seedheads, dried flowers etc. We will also have some lovely bulbs that will slowly emerge and will keep your arrangement interesting as it changes week on week.

You can choose between one tall advent candle or four smaller candles to light week by week on a golden plate base. Or for a more modern touch you can design your arrangement in a large ceramic bowl with big green candles.  We also have a large collection of coloured glass baubles to choose from. Help is at hand and no-one is rushed. The perfect way to start the Christmas season!

Battersea Bloem is known for natural, voluminous designs. Groups are small and you will be guided step by step on how to make a stunning creation. All materials are included.  Come and get creative with us!
